Pluktuin de Bosrand, a pick your own flowers and fruit garden, situated on the Wageningse Eng, east of Wageningen, is located on Dorskampweg opposite house number 15. Less than 2 kilometer from downtown Wageningen.
Enjoy the lushness of a summer garden and the peaceful country-side view while you pick your own bouquet, edible flowers, tea herbs and/or fruit crops. Our flowers and berries (including raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, currants, gooseberries, appels and grapes) are grown in a sustainable manner without using chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Pluktuin de Bosrand total garden area is .83 hectors. This year we have planted and sown even more flowers so the supply of flowers is even more diverse.
Flowers are priced according to the diameter of the bunch. A bouquet start from 12,00 Euro.
Prices of fruits vary according to variety and weight. Minimum is 150 gram of a variety. Price from 3,00 up.
For your own safety the garden is closed during thunder storms. Take normal precautions while visiting the garden as you are visiting at your own risk. Children are welcome and invited to join in the picking, but younger children should be supervised by an adult. Dogs on leashes are also welcome. Kindly, do not smoke in the garden.
Workshops on flower arranging and jam making are also offered throughout the season. Click on the Workshop tab (Dutch version) to see a complete listing of classes.
The garden can be rented for special occasions such as picnics or garden and children’s parties. (Please note, barbecue grills and open fires are prohibited).
